The project hosted 37 participants from 7 different organisations operating in Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Macedonia, Turkey, Tunisia and Jordan. The aim of the project was to support and strengthen social inclusion among young people through the sport and physical activity as an integrating element of a democratic and multiethnic society. The work methodology was based on the non-formal education, which allows all participants to take an active role in acquiring good practices, improving knowledge and creating new participatory networks in the hope of a social integration of all young people . During the project were held several workshops, conferences, physical and sports activities, debates, talks, video creation, role playing and visits. Very significant were the conferences with Sara Andrés Barrio, paralympic champion, and Pablo Sánchez Bujan, responsible for Sports of the Town Council of Las Rozas de Madrid, who talked about their personal experiences with all the youngsters. |
