YE "The history of a plastic bottle"
Riga, Latvia
42 participants from countries Latvia, Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Spain and Macedonia took part in the project.
Objective: The use of non-formal education methods and creativity, to foster thoughts about the ecology, recycling and environment milenary goals, to create discussion and exchange of opinion on the importance of sustainability.
It was brilliant to celebrate Latvia's national holiday together, spend a few days with glue guns all over the place in the hands, to see and know what happens in the world, how to perceive sustainability, how to recycle is a problem and why Latvia does not do it.
To be recycling for a week and creating art and creative tools, which shows that there are incredible amount of options available to us.
We have understood that the Christmas tree can be made from recycled glass bottles, plastic bottle can be recycled in the vase or pencil holder and many more opportunities, but above all it is in us what we do, how we perceive it and how one of the greenest countries in Europe do not separate waste?
