Sustainable Measures for Advanced Research and Training
S.M.A.R.T.
"Sustainable Measures for Advanced Research and Training S.M.A.R.T." is a project which will take place in Skopje, Macedonia from 8-10 January 2018.
The participating countries are Spain (Adefis Juventud international Spain), Italy (AssociazioneSikanie), Croatia (Mladi za Мarof) and Bulgaria (ICDET). For each country 2 participants will take part, for a total of 8 people. The applican organisation is FORUM ZA ISTRAZHUVANJE I MOBILNOST, Bitola.
In current times, import and export of goods play an important part in the development and growth of national economies. But not all countries have the resources and skills required to produce certain goods and services, therefore it is very common the process of import and export for such purpose. Anyway, when we go deeper into the issue, we can clearly see that even though the rising of a country’s economy due to export/import is put on risk (since countries impose trade barriers – tariffs and import quotas in order to protect their domestic industries).
This is one of the reasons for the creation of this project, whose main aim is to encourage the setting up of organic production enterprises, and to encourage the entrepreneurship spirit in people. It is the idea not only to motivate adults, but also help them in understanding the main reasons, present them all aspects in order to have in mind the actual situation and the cause for this initiative, as well as the expected results and outcomes from taking such step, by bringing them closer to a sustainable model of production. Our project will have an elaborate approach and a previously well prepared strategy that will be transmitted to all the participants and parties involved. Every phase of the project will be based on active participation and engagement, with a tendency of empowering adults in the organic production and the development of startup enterprises.
Through this idea, we will also approach another point in our project-maintaining of traditions. Starting with the idea of organic food production, it is unavoidable to see the connection between the home production and the preservation of food tradition that is of high importance when it comes to economic growth. Both ways, establishing organic food enterprises, the sustainable development of production, and keeping not only the quantity but also the quality of traditional food, is a leading force for the local and national growth of economy. The empowerment of adults for taking these steps will be through an exchange of experiences, good practices, suggestions and ideas, where adults will have the opportunity to learn specificities of self-employment, the tactics of a successful social entrepreneurship, and the effects and perks of opening own innovative business for a personal, professional, social and communal development.
It is a project that encourages taking steps against unemployment, through offering different innovative tools, actions, ideas and suggestions on how, when, where, and why should be done. It is a great solution in the fight against unemployment, at the same time a way or preserving national heritage, and a great alternative for bringing a good price on the labor market. The need for this project is found in the improvement of communities in the field of sustainable organic production that is a growing business with long-term prospects. Therefore our tactics for ‘transforming’ adults into EU citizens who actively fight against unemployment is due to the fact that we have in mind there are good solutions and options in these time of crisis.
This project will embrace not only potential entrepreneurs, but also people who already are working in the area of organic production, and are in need for new ideas, new methodologies and approaches, having a chance to learn more elaborate production skills and to put them into practice under the supervision of experts in the field. The improvement of staff qualifications in the respective countries is a great step in the country’s development on local, national and international level, and is a great opportunity for the people involved to improve the chances of entering the international job market
