Be Part! : Sé Parte, Youth Intercultural Dialogue and Social Inclusion
The project "SÉ PARTE" is held in Las Rozas de Madrid and brings together women, youth, immigrant organizations, youth activists and students in order to equip them with the tools and strategies to encourage dialogue intercultural and help social inclusion.
The idea is to act locally in the search for solutions to a common problem nowadays, as a consequence of the economic crisis that many countries are suffering. We want to create a space for the exchange of experiences and also to see what works best when it comes to facilitating dialogue between cultures and the social inclusion of groups of immigrants and other minorities.
We will pay a special attention to the gender dimension in this project. The participants, in total of 25 young people from 18 to 30 years old will learn how important it is to work towards a society where the rights of all genders are respected and where everyone, regardless of gender, may have the opportunity to participate actively in the debate and local development. On the last day, the participants see a center for children with functional problems.
